Amsterdam wears african fashion colors

After Berlin, Prague, London, Paris, Amsterdam is hosting its first African fashion Week. AFWA (African Fashion Week Amsterdam) will be held from August 29 to August 31, 2014.

Twenty african designers and designers inspired by the richness of the african continent, will present their new collections to an international audience at the World Fashion Centre, next August 30th and 31st.

Initiated by the young designer Diana Tambe, this « fashion week » is an opportunity to highlight the emerging talents of african fashion, like the creations of confirmed designers. As music and fashion go together, the event will be punctuated by performances and music: Miss Bess, Nabil Nabstar and Petit Bagaza will be part of this great african fashion celebration. Do attend to the first edition of the AFWA which will be full of surprises!
