Candice Huffine, supermodel “large-size” in vogue

With his killer smile and doe eyes, Candice Huffine, model and fashionista, 29, is now at the peak of his career, thanks to one of its many strengths: its size 42-44.

This young American from Maryland fell into the pot of fashion when she was little. Even before he could walk, Candice Huffine already participating in talent contests and beauty. Teenager, she decided to try his luck as a professional model and moved to New York where she quickly won several contracts. However, most agencies submit him one condition: young Candice, who was 14 years old, should definitely lose weight. Good about yourself, it ignores the dictates of the time and ended up signing with an agency that class in the “plus-size” category, ie “large” in its catalog.

Candice Huffine‘s career took off immediately. In 2010 she appeared in an issue of V Magazine and on the cover of Vogue Italia in 2011 alongside mannequins large–size Tara Lynn and Robyn Lawley. She has since appeared in several recognized as Harper’s Bazaar and S Moda magazine, and marched for renowned designers.

Today it is the buzz by becoming the second size model to feature in the prestigious Pirelli calendar, following Sophie Dahl in 1999.

Little known outside the world of fashion, calendar Pirelli tire industries is yet an institution. Published annually since 1964, it is distributed to a limited number of customers and important personalities of the group, and has become, over the years, a benchmark for fashion photos still celebrating the woman in all her femininity and power. Models, photographers, art directors, all chosen to participate in the development of the calendar see it as a real professional consecration: Sophia Lauren, Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and Laetitia Casta, was notably featured.

Led by Carine Roitfeld (former editor of Vogue Paris) and Steven Meisel (famous fashion photographer), the 2015 edition of the famous calendar is scheduled for the month of November. Among the 11 other girls who appear alongside Candice Huffine, one will find among other Adriana Lima, Gigi Hadid and Joan Smalls.

“My presence in this set – the most glamorous in the world – is really the proof that things are changing,” he told Candice Huffine in Vogue magazine.Some pictures from the shoot were recently unveiled, revealing Candice Huffine at the height of her beauty, glamor and seductive.
