In the Black?

What connection is there between Paris, London, Barcelona and St. Petersburg? Each of these capitals was born in the last decade an atypical restaurant called “In the Black? “. An institution with an original concept, as it allows blind and visually impaired to experience the same taste and sensory experience.

Created 10 years ago by Edouard de Broglie, this fine dining establishment allows lights to put on an evening in the skin of a visually impaired person.

To celebrate ten years of success of the Parisian restaurant, diners have lent prestige to the game. Immersed in total darkness, guided by the blind, they could not rely only on taste, smell, their hearing and their touch. Clinging to each other to get into the restaurant, they had a rare moment between gastronomic discovery and giggles. This unique experience, each came out different. Necessarily.

In the Black? is located at 51 rue Quincampoix in Paris
