This weekend, the festival of Science in 2014 to the city of Science and Industry

The Science Fair is an opportunity for the City of Science and Industry to offer its visitors an extensive program of original animations in partnership with many research organizations and associations. This festival, which began yesterday, will continue until Sunday, September 28 inclusive.

What is a sound? Who can raise 2 tons of water per day to 100 meters high? What good is a weather station? How does an engine? And a satellite? …

Scientists mediators will answer all your questions!

You can also program a robot, fly a drone, understand the geology with candy, test virtual reality devices or follow a clown fish in coral reefs …

For book lovers, the library offers a large market with 40,000 books € 1 coin, 1900 beautiful books to 3 €, the journal of the Palace and a few DVDs. Publishing Youth, biology, health–medicine, earth science, astronomy, computer science, agriculture, botany, food …, scientific culture lovers will find them !

“Heretics angels – Dialogos Kantaduri”

Saturday, September 27th, 2014 at 8:30 p.m., at Saint Martin d’Etampes.

Croatian polyphonic ensemble invites you to discover the rituals and beliefs popular in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

These are works from the fourteenth to the eighteenth century and traditional polyphony offered by Catholic, Orthodox, Jews, Muslims, but also Christians heretical Cathars near peoples of medieval Bosnia.

On the occasion of a concert scenography, Ensemble Dialogos and choir traditional polyphony Kantaduri we will walk this land full of mysteries where the traditions, songs and rituals have survived particularly through oral tradition.

We will walk this earth confessions of infinite wealth at the option of History and beliefs, along with strange tombstones engraved with cryptic entries by which the dead are for the living.

Songs, poignant and bitter, intertwine in a story on the threshold of musical theater where the voices and instruments lead us to the creation of the world at the last judgment, from birth to death, and invite us to follow these pagan rites and Christian invocations of angels and exorcisms of evil spirits.

From a very homogeneous, and famous for its “Leaning Tower” style, St. Martin’s Church hosts this special moment. Visit the royal city of Etampes, fortified since the Middle Ages, and discovery opened specially for the festival monuments rhythm your afternoon ahead of the concert.
