Trofémina 2014 humanitarian, awarded to Patricia Mowbray, President of the Association “Roots of Childhood”

On June 16, was held 11èmeédition of Trofémina 2014 Eurosites rooms Wagram in Paris. The event, chaired by Bernard Montiel host, emcee, had the presence of numerous personalities such as Nelson Montfort, Sandrine Quétier, Geneviève de Fontenay, Sylvie Tellier accompanied Florence Coquerel, Miss France 2014. Again this year, the Trofémina décernéà was exceptional women, winners in seven categories: business, culture, media, hospitality, travel, restaurants, and international humanitarian woman. In addition, they were chosen by a grand jury Competence of specialists in each category.

Thus, the price of the humanitarian category was awarded to Patricia Mowbray, President of the association “Childhood Roots“, an association of volunteers and health professionals and education in France and Africa fighting since 2003, to create a protected environment for children until they are old enough to go to school. The association initiated by Patricia Mowbray and Mark Perpitch built nursery schools with sanitary facilities in villages in Senegal. These kindergartens cater for children between 2 and 7 years are supervised by trained staff in local academies. In this context, children receive pre-school education preparing them to easily integrate primary school, an annual and a daily breakfast medical visit. Patricia Mowbrayn, this award is a true recognition of the work done by the members of the association for over 10 years in the villages of Senegal. This year, Roots of Childhood” will open its 7ièmeécole in the village of Koumbal to accommodate up to 120 children. In addition, 2014 also marks 10 years of the association’s actions in Senegal. With such an experience, it is normal that Roots Child” plans to expand to other countries.
