From June 11 to July 2, Orange RockCorps moved to Paris, for the 6th consecutive year. Orange RockCorps program is a result of a partnership between two companies: Orange and RockCorps. Launched in 2009 in France, it allows young people aged 16 and over, to give four hours of their time to volunteer for the benefit of local partner organizations in a festive atmosphere. After 4 hours, the volunteers are rewarded with a place for a unique concert to their attention. As of June 11, 1500 youth will be able to help 21 partner associations in Paris. Icing on the cake, they will attend, July 2, at the Trianon in Paris, a concert featuring American rapper Wizz Khalifa, the French singer Indila and DJ Cut Killer, faithful ambassador of the event. Orange RockCorps will move to Nancy for a concert on September 30 and October 29 in Lyon.

In five years, Orange RockCorps has attracted more than 30,000 volunteers, for a total of 120,000 volunteer hours to help more than 350 associations. The concerts are held, throughout France, the French and international artists such as Shy’m, Oxmo Puccino, Trey Songz, NERD, Snoop Dogg, Sean Paul, Razorlight, Lilly Xood and the Prick, Selah Sue or Damian Marley . An action that appeals to young people and shows that volunteering can be “fun”!
