“The award recognizes entrepreneurs who share a common spirit: the desire to create better economic and social conditions. Their business is based on innovation, passion and generosity and we congratulate them for what they are doing, “said Stanislas de Quercize, President & CEO, for Cartier International. Since its creation, the contest has supported over 140 women running 129 companies over five continents.

The six 2014 winners were chosen on October 16, in Deauville, by an independent, volunteer panel of entrepreneurs and professionals from the business world. Selected from more than 1,000 nominations, the winning projects are of great creativity, social impact and financial sustainability in the long term. Each winner wins the Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards trophy, a year of personalized support and $ 20,000
