Pour fêter comme il se doit les 15 ans du cirque Phénix, son directeur fondateur, Alain Pacherie, a choisi d’y inclure 6 moines Shaolin (ndlr: qui n’ont pas encore prononcé leurs vœux définitifs) qui évoluent dans un numéro remarquable d’arts martiaux.

D’origine modeste, il se révèle très tôt être un atout considérable pour sa famille, mais aussi pour les chefs de guerre, les brigands de grands chemins, et pour tous ceux qui voient en lui un moyen de changer leur propre condition. Séparé de sa famille, il vit des aventures extraordinaires. Adolescent, ses péripéties le conduisent à travers tout l’Empire. On prétend que lors de sa retraite de neuf ans dans les grottes, alors qu’il méditait, les roches se sont littéralement fendues sous l’influence de son regard perçant. Devenu adulte, il est désormais doué d’une intelligence redoutable et d’une force herculéenne. Il décide alors de revenir sur les terres de ses ancêtres afin de changer la destinée des siens. Comment y parviendra-t- il ?

C‘est ce qu‘il vous sera donné de découvrir dans ce spectacle magnifique qui se décline en 12 tableaux de haut niveau. C’est surtout un bel hommage à l’acrobatie chinoise. Avec des décors sobres et beaux, servis par une création artistique épurée. Une pure merveille!
